Kassie Melnyk

With over 30 years experience within the Housing and Public sector, Kassie brings considerable knowledge of the challenges facing the sector today. Working at senior level across the East Anglian Region (including Norwich City Council, Wherry Housing and CircleAnglia Group) she has developed strategies that allowed the provision of a wide range of services to tenants in general and special needs schemes

In 2005, Kassie formed her own consultancy to allow her to work directly with organisations in formulating their strategies for service delivery and improved performance. Projects to date have included overseeing integration of staff and stock between merging RSLs, leading Best value reviews and helping to devise strategies for housing provision in the care sector

Within Melnyk and Scott, Kassie has specific responsibility for:

Working at a strategic level, establishing new routes to funding, developing innovative solutions, working in conjunction with local authorities to meet local demands in homelessness, with hostels, private sector schemes and floating support.

Focusing on tenant involvement and performance; comprehensive service reviews resulting in significant change, improved services, higher customer satisfaction and better value for money.

Contract negotiation for the management of waiting lists hostel management and homeless function.
